2017’s Justice League was directed by Comic book Aficionado Zack Snyder but later he left the project due to his family tragedy and Joss Whedon had to come up and finish the job. Though the film was complete, only post-production was supposed to be finished by him but instead, Whedon did many re-shoots, and the movie which was supposed to be 2 hours 30 minutes long was cut off by Joss Whedon and made into 1 hour 52 minutes. This film wasn’t well-received by the fans so it resulted in a box office disaster thus resulting in the formation of the Snyder cut movement.

Later it was confirmed that the long-awaited Snyder cut will debut on HBO max in 2021.

There will be a lot of references to the nightmare sequence scene. Snyder also substantiated the BvS version of Steppenwolf will be in this movie and Cyborg’s entire story will be told in this cut whereas it was altered in the theatrical cut. Snyder even twitted that his ending will be different, in the theatrical version Steppenwolf was defeated by the league and was devoured by his fear of failure, attacked by the parademons and gets transported through the boom tube but in Zack Snyder’s Justice League the Amazonian Wonder Woman will decapitate him before he enters the boom tube and will presumably end up in front of Darkseid. This will be the scene where the Justice League will get the first glimpse at Darkseid.
